We have planned meals out and would love you to join us, if you can- see ‘The Wedding Week’ for details. If you are staying a little longer or wondering where to eat for lunch, you might like to try a few of these places.
Shahzad Resturant (Kebab)
This is a casual, informal little kebab restaurant that also serves take-out.It is open every day for lunch and dinner and has Wiifii. It serves a variety of kebab in either ‘Pide’ (pitta bread’ or ‘full service’ which includes chips, salad, bread and dips. Menu prices between 12-30 TL Not the type of place you would spend the whole evening but great to grab grub. Price is very reasonable

towards ‘Girne’ (Kyrenia). It is opposite Lemar on your left.
Roxanne’s cocktail bar
Pricey but does great cocktail and good for pre-dinner drinks. It is the place to be seen in Northern Cyprus and is linked with the Rocks Hotel and Casino. Near
harbour. Price: pricey
Inzeni
This is a quirky family run restaurant that serves homemade
Cypriot dishes. It is closed on Sundays. Price is very reasonable
Directions: Beginning at Cratos Hotel to your right, follow the road towards ‘Girne’ (Kyrenia). Past China Bazaar (on right) and Alesta Bar (on right) through ‘Karakum’. Continue to roundabout (with the statue of two people holding olive branches) and go straight over (second exit).Go past Pia Bella Hotel and row of café type places on your left.Follow the road round past hospital on right hand side and Club Z on your left. Follow road, asif going to Girne (Kyrenia) Town. Before you enter town, on the right hand side you will see colonial style buildings and on the left will be some open phone booths. Turn left here.Go straight ahead and bear round to the left. Continue to the end of the road and then turn right.
Alesta's Bar
Just after the ‘statue round about’, this restaurant is
reasonable and casual. You can get a lamachun for 3 TL or just a bowl of lentil soup, which makes a great lunch or go full out on a mixed kebab for dinner. Also does take-away and open till around 11pm. He speaks good English. Price: Cheap

Muze Dostlari Restaurant (Lefkosa/Nicosa)
If you are in Lefkosa town, visiting the Bazaar, then this restaurant/café is one
to try for lunch. It is an informal casual dining and attracts many locals. Located in the grounds of the old church and serves traditional Cypriot home-cooked, local dishes. I would suggest asking for a mixed plate where you get a small selection of the specials of the day.
Price is very reasonable
Mersin Tantuni
Just before Kyrenia town, this little café restaurant is open 24/7. You can grab a quick bite to eat (kebab, lamachun or tantni) for lunch, dinner or after a big night out. Casual, cheap and cheerful dining.Price is very cheap

Kyrenia Tavern
Delicious homemade food in a private house, opened for meals. Ran by a friendly elderly couple!
As you approach the car park at the entrance of Kyrenia/Gire. You will see some
colonial style buildings on the right hand side. Opposite these, on the left, are some telephone booths take the left turning after the telephones. As you follow the road round to the left, directly in front of you there is a white wall. This is the restaurant! Recommend you pop in the day before to book as they like to ask you what you would like cooked. Our advice is leave it to them.Price: reasonable

Magarinia Bulli
Informal café day time dining.They serve all types of local food. Look at the counter and see what is specially being cooked that day- they will do you a mixed plate here. Don’t think they sell alcohol, more of a lunch stop. Owners speak English. Very reasonably priced.
